Moonlight: Call it What You Want

Call it What You Want

Intuition is the intelligence of your body-mind. It is something known or believed instinctively, without actual evidence for it. Intuition doesn't have accumulated knowledge to distort your vision. That is why kids are so great at being in the moment, experiencing spirit activity without all the stuff people place in their minds. With intuition you can feel the source of your being without reasoning it away and being filled with doubt. Doubt takes away our intuition because we start placing on it, all the things we have been taught-thought. Finding our power; feeling empowered and balanced between mind and intuition takes practice.

Example: “I had a feeling that there was something wrong.”

When you get this gut feeling, a hunch what do you usually do with it? Paying attention to your thoughts, feelings and emotions is an act of kindness and compassion you offer to yourself. Where do you believe this sixth sense comes from? How does it assist you?

We all have a strong connection with spirit; we are spirit having a material/human experience. Thus, spirit is with us quite often. We may have various frequencies, some operating at a higher level of vibration. Archangels for example are said to have a higher frequency of vibration that Angels. When spirit comes to "be" with us or we have an out of body experience, that also opens us up further to a deeper connection with the source of all. You may or may not want this connection with spirit, depending on your thoughts at the time. Spirit comes to you because they know they can. They see the vibration of your aura and know it is open to you experiencing them. When you are ready this connection will deepen.

You can decide what, if anything that you want to do when spirit reaches out to you. Remember that you yourself are spirit! Spirit as energy, is on a different vibration of existence, that is all. You are in charge. Always remember that and it will assist you.
People in general are very connected to 'word.' We are sentimental about certain words we have grown up with. We create a scene in our minds and this creates emotions that go along with them. You may say something like you have a strong intuition. You may say you are psychic, a medium, a seer, a sooth sayer, a healer, etc. You will get different reactions from various people depending on what they have accepted as "taught-thought." Prayer is a word for healing energy. It is often associated with a certain religion. Reiki, Deeksha, Matrix Energetics and so on are other words for the same energy. It depends on the persons taught-thoughts and timing, on whether or not people are open to learning about different forms of energy. Every word/thought has a vibration. Depending on the thoughts people think, they are holding that vibration in their body and this vibration has an affect on their body. When we think too many thoughts of low vibration, we can see dis-ease within the lower density body. Your thoughts are like a song you sing to yourself. What song are you singing? Louise Hay has written many books on the subject of thought and it’s related emotion that creates dis-ease within the physical body. She has documented many case histories.

Art; color, form, and so on - music; vibration, etc. are forms of speaking without using words that actually have the ability to reach places in people where 'word' may not be able to reach because of certain taught-thoughts that may or may not get in the way. You could take your experiences experiencing spirit and creatively express it outwardly. Project into your passion for art or music for example, what you experience with spirit around you and within you.

I once saw a television show about a woman that paints deceased veterans of war. She does this free of charge and then gives the art to the families who have lost a loved one.
This touches people in a place that no 'word' can reach.

Meeting Those on the Other Side

Many a day I spend doing readings for others to connect with those on the other side, whether it be human or pet. I send healing energy daily all over the world and beyond with the mantra, "Healing energy sent for all that I know and all that I don't."

I have heard some miraculous responses. Things I didn't believe before and now true to me and others. There are times when we begin to understand too, that we have free will and our belief systems have a strong hold on us. We are what we believe. Change the belief system and we change our outlook. It can be that simple. Yet, we cling to the old ways, hoping for the best. Even when we do believe we have changed, life events happen and we may revert to old ways under stress. That is common and an ordinary way of dealing with life stresses.

Being a reader, healer, body, mind, spirit event coordinator and shop owner doesn't change that. Filling and surrounding myself with healing energy, meditating, singing, chanting to raise energy and so forth doesn't necessarily take away the experience or life lesson. We may learn new and higher ways of dealing with experiences and still our ego is there within us.

On a particular time of day I began to look at my thought process about validation more closely. I began to struggle and this contined for a few days. The thoughts and feelings associated with them were about anger, jealousy, abandonment. Many negative ways of looking at a situation were kicking my butt, so to speak. I didn't like how I was thinking or feeling yet, felt tied to them somehow. I worked towards reading uplifting things, reminding myself of words I have used before that helped me sort things out, listening to soothing music, with no reward of leaving behind the emotional conflict within.

Days passed. The timing was ready. I called my son. He and I talked for over an hour. He in his own struggle with life, reading self-help books, remembering things I may have told him over the years. He with his wisdom, kindness and love helped me through the suffering to the other side.

Here on earth we live in duality, for the most part. Sure there are times of ecstasy. There are times of miracles. In a way of thinking, doing, being we can find solace and bring this solace into our lives more and more often.

My particular struggle was over a friend going to a far off land to find herself. To find something that were assist her and others. That in itself was a courageous, beautiful and spiritual doing that would lead to her being more of who she already is. That was exactly why I was in conflict, also. I had talked to her as a teacher and guide. I tied myself into her following me. Listening to me. Validating me. I felt needy and young, emotionally. I wanted her to validate my belief that tells me "we are what we seek." The mirror was up close and personal. I felt like smashing it.

I saw through this mirror, that I was expecting something outside myself to fix things for me. I forgot that I validate myself, nothing is broken. We all have our own process. No one else owes us anything. Of coarse it is nice when people share with compassion. For me it is much more soothing and fulfilling when I find within myself, the tools that empower me.

With the help of a son that showed me the other side once more I was able to see that life lesson. I hope within my heart that this lesson is within my heart. I know that pain is a great deterent. It assists in imbedding lessons and knowledge. It is but one way of walking the path of enlightenment.

During and after this time I filled myself with high, vibratory energy in any way I could think of. I even drank water that I had sent affirmations to, as Dr. Emoto suggests. Re-connecting with a woman that I hadn't talked to in many years. She was one of my Reiki Masters. She also sent me an attunement to assist me. She lives on the other side of the USA than I do. Energy is all that we are. Energy has a consciousness of it's own. The energy knew just what to do to assist me, as spirit.

One night soon after, I had a dream. I was in a room with three spirit medicine/healer people. I was laying on my stomach. One healer opened up the bottom of my left foot and showed me a pus-filled sack in the shape and length of a foot. This spirit lifted this up and showed it to me purposefully. As in, "See this." All the while there was total compassion and gentleness. Hearts were open and opened. He cleansed my foot and closed the incision. With deep gratitude I hugged the spirit. It was as if we melted into one another. There was only unconditional love and peace. I awoke from the dream in awe. No matter how many times I am with spirit, it always feels new and splendid, filling me up with peace.

A deep healing had occurred. A release. I felt a joyful abundance. I believe, though we say that we meet those on the other side, we are them and they are us. We are all together within the sphere of energy. There are no "sides" in spirit. That is precisely why we can communicate with them. We are all in this together.

There are times for each one of us that things just aren’t going the way we would like them to. We may begin to feel out of touch, or separate from the rest. We may begin feeling that we aren’t good enough. Things seem to spiral out of control.

At these times we choose a method to either run from or embrace and accept our woes. Running from our difficult moments can be a healthy short-term option as long as we aren’t injuring anyone, including ourselves. We could take a walk, listen to some calming music, light some incense or a candle, go fishing, have a girls or guys night out, eat a nice home-cooked meal. It is when the difficult times creep up more and more often, without reprieve that we would benefit from some life counseling. It is when we find ourselves or a loved one hiding from life, that fears creep in. Will this ever change?

Life counseling is a form of guidance.

A shoulder to lean on. Support so that we can get our heads above water again, so to speak. Guidance can and often does come from a close friend, a mentor, various forms of therapy, alternative healing, spiritual guidance, and so forth. Sometimes all it takes is one deep conversation, one great cry, a great massage, some distance healing energy sent. Life counseling can be all of this and more. It can be designed to meet the clients emotional, and spiritual needs. The purpose is to assist hurting people in identifying, understanding and coping with what they believe to be the problem in their lives.

Spiritual life counseling can include healing energy, guided meditation, an intuitive reading, joining others of like-mind for support. It offers tools for self-empowerment, emotional freedom and positive change.

Signs Along The Way

My husband and I had just visited with family. Four family members were having physical, mental/emotional difficulties. We were deep in thought and conversation. Along the way we had been given what we believed to be validations; signs. Driving home from this out of state visit I said aloud "I haven't seen any signs lately." Just at that very second, a car pulled in front of ours  with a license plate reading "0LIMITS;" zero limits. Joe Vatale writes about this topic. We had just visited my brother-in-law who happens to also be named Joe! The place my brother-in-law was staying in begins with Rosewood. We then drove by the town of Rosewood Heights, just as I was saying to myself, "Joe, the healthier you are the quicker you can get into some place nice."

Often I talk to people as a medium and life counselor about what I call, taught-thoughts. What we have been taught by the previous generation continues on in our lives as if this was "the truth." This "truth" then gets mirrored back to us through family, friends, and our environment. As children we may not realize until we are older, that not all people think alike. By then the neurons have been set in our brain and changing our thought patterns is literally changing our minds.

Have you ever decided to go on a diet, quit smoking, and so forth? You then understand the pull that our mind can have over us. The taught-thoughts begin and our body naturally produces the chemicals into our bodies to go along with them. The neurons in our brain gets fired and we find ourselves in a dilema much like a mental tug-of-war. We may say things to ourselves like "I am weak." Assuming these thoughts are mirrored in some way back to us by those we associate with that say, "you are weak" we may choose to believe this reflection. This may be all we think we needed to hear. This then feels like "the truth." We may have decided that giving in seems the easier thing to do, in the moment.

We may choose to give away our personal truth; our personal power, to go along with the status quo. This is an individual right.

We may believe and feel we have injured ourselves by choice, to go along with the group mind-set. The group we associate with may not want to see us change and grow, as they may choose to think they would need to change and grow then. Change and growth albiet painful at times, is a choice we can allow ourselves to make. It does take courage to pull away from the 'self' that we have grown used to, the family and friends we know and find comfort in, even when we and they may not be healthy in the moment. The cycle may continue. This is when self-compassion and self-nurturance assists us.

If someone says, "You are NOT weak" we may think they are lying to us because they aren't mirroring our "truth" back to us. The taught-thoughts move us onward and we most likely will pick up the habit we were trying to let go of. Have you ever noticed that when you decide to not like yourself, that if someone gives you compassion, praise and so on, that you may think they are lying to you? You may even believe that, "If someone likes me they must be an idiot. If they are, I am choosing to not respect them or like them either." Perfect mirror.

The thing of it is though, is that we decide what thoughts we put in our heads and we decide what thoughts stay in our heads. We are always in charge whether or not we choose to know or believe this.

My husband and I continued to have an in-depth conversation about how most of us feel separate from others and even ourselves. We have been taught-thought into this predicament. A sign, on a church next to the hospital we were visiting, stated that healings were offered by someone inside. We began discussing how we ask someone else for a healing believing in our taught-thoughts that someone else can provide us with healing energy. We then discussed that each individual person makes up society. We talked about how each one of us can heal ourselves and provide this type of energy to ourselves and others. In other words, we don't need to request healing from that separate place we imagine, unless we believe we do.

I believe I am that already. I am that which you or I may seek. There are no limitations unless you or I believe in them. There is no such thing as separateness.

Other people may choose to believe something you or I don't believe in. This is their reality and you and I have ours. Still we are all a part of the whole. What ever we think, say or do affects the whole. How empowering is that? When we allow ourselves to begin thinking like this we may see that those people we thought were 'right' or 'wrong' or 'good' or 'bad' are our own mirrored taught-thoughts reflecting back to us 'who we believe we are.' We can then experience these taught-thoughts differently by simply changing our minds by the way we choose to think.

Like anything else, it is a process. Most processes come and go in cycles. Give yourself a break and pat yourself on the back as you move through your self-conceived limitations. You could choose to see these limiting taught-thoughts like porcupine quills stuck in your flesh, and begin to pull them out one at a time as you see fit to do so and toss them away. Any change comes with some discomfort, if you believe it does. Healing feels so comforting. Having compassion for yourself as you let go of your self-conceived limitations assists in the growth process. Nurture yourself as you experience this process of letting go and moving forward.

We all experience limitations we put in our way to experience ourselves through, to simply decide who we are. How are you experiencing your limitations today and how are you deciding to experience yourself through them?
