A friend came into my shop and handed me a gift. I was surprised. Not because of the gift but by what she said, “Happy birthday!” I then replied, “It’s not my birthday, unless you know something I don’t.” I smiled and chuckled. I don’t believe it was an accident. I believe it was synchronicity. A message. Independence Day. Freedom. She had a present for me. Two journals and three colorful inked pens. She said, “I thought I heard somewhere that it was your birthday.”

When I came home, I noticed that the head of the Buddha statue I had in my garden had been decapitated. I still haven’t figured out how. I had recalled a song another friend had sung when we gathered for a circle for Kirtan. Kirtan practice involves chanting hymns or mantras to the accompaniment of instruments. To be headless; losing our head simply means to live within our heart, as our soul. A way of being.

Sacred Sound and drumming circle!
Adhi travels and teaches all over the United States as well as internationally. She has traveled and taught in such diverse locations as the Bahamas, California, Pennsylvania, New York, Mexico, Canada, Arizona, Maryland, Vermont and Egypt!

Bring drums, rattles, shakers, bells, and any others sounds you want to share and join Adhi as she facilities and helps us weave traditional and inspired rhythms. First part of the class will be basic rhythm teachings followed by exploration into drumming and playing together. Adhi will also share how to use drumming as a form of gathering to celebrate and unify community transformation and empowerment. Dancers welcome too!

H. said "mama I missed you last night when you were at your meeting" I said "so did I" then out of the blue he said "animals change colors when they go to the doctor" I think he was talking about their auras and it felt like a continuation from last nights (event) animals coming thru. Thanks so much for the meditation and reading last evening, Michele... so many things were validated for me... I was sitting there and my whole body was buzzing! At one point, I turned to Janice and said, "She's good, isn't she?" and she agreed...
Tonight's class was great! I really liked the Aura Meditation we did. It was different than others I have done before, and really helped me. I could feel my Green Aura the strongest. On the way home I noticed the clouds, while they were dark, were kind of shaped like an Aura. It was really cool! :)
SO looking forward to being with everyone tonight at class. I have missed you.

I have accepted the opportunity to hone my skills. I've been seeing 11,111,1111 again lately. Did a reading for myself: Two times when doing a reading for myself I have received Transfiguation card. Today I received that one again, The Chariot and The Hanged Man. They seem to have common meanings within the three cards. All major arcana about change, beginnings, being beyond duality, surrender, visions. Letting go of one 'reality' to move forward. Each talk about subconsious mind/darkness/buried secrets/underworld. Renunciation.
I have also been thinking recently about 'respect' and how this expectation leads us to a point of focus/suffering. I believe it is beneficial to respect in general and yet, when we begin to expect others respect we may or may not receive it. i have been creating the space within myself to experience my thoughts and feelings created by these thoughts and what this means to me. Where we not receive respect from others we do have an opportunity to respect ourselves and go from that point. We can always choose this way of thinking. We can nurture and have compassion for ourselves as being sacred. No 'matter' what occurs in our life, we can hold sacred ground. I AM.

“I sprayed some of the Boswellness frankincense (carteri) that you gave me (sample) on my upper chest before I went to bed last night. I have skin damage because of all the sunburns that I had as a child. There was a pleasant and unexpected surprise that came from doing this. When I woke up in the middle of the night I could breathe ok and didn't take my inhaler as usual. I always have to take a puff upon rising also and haven't had to take it yet and I've been up a couple of hours. My arm was also aching which I have been enduring for the last couple of months and so I decided to spray and rub some into that arm. Within a few minutes the pain was gone. I did this an hour ago and it hasn't returned.” TP
After reading - grandmother with hand behind her back - handing candy cane to readee:
Hi Michele, I figured out the candy cane, hand behind the back with my grandmother, she reminded me on the way home (from the reading). When I was 23, living with my aunt, my cousin Courtney was a baby. My grandmother bought her a baby's first christmas stocking....I jokingly said "Why does she get a special stocking?" (up to this point I had been the only grand daughter) The next week my grandmother was standing in the living room with her hand behind her back, it was was a stocking with a mouse hanging on to a candy cane and at the top she wrote in "Kathy's 23rd Christmas" I still have it. This is a joke in the family so she was bringing validation. Thanks for that!!
6-Week Psychic Development Course - Exercise: “Ask the Universe a Question” :
A follow up from class Monday night... During my hour drive today to visit my 98 year old grandmother who's in a nursing home, I asked the Universe if I could have some kind of a sign to let me know if Grama knows who I am. Over the past 2 years (since her stroke) it's a rare moment that I feel she does. Nevertheless, I talk to her as if she fully understands and she seems to be happy I'm there. Throughout our visit today, although it was clear she didn't "know" who I was, I felt from a soul level, she knew. When I got ready to leave, I told her I'll be back for a visit in another week or 2. She then looked right into my eyes, pulled me closer, and said to me "thank you for being my grand daughter", all the while having a grin on her face... THANK YOU, UNIVERSE!
S. - I feel like I'm imagining this, but did someone talk about "All you need is love" last night in our class?
(In fact someone had). I was at Bed Bath & Beyond today and a calendar fell off a display and landed by my feet. I picked it up to put it away and across the whole front cover was "All you need is love." cool! (PS, I didn't even bump into the display, the calendar just fell.
MP. - Oh my! I just opened my Pinterest page and there, right in front of me, was a woman wearing a t-shirt that said......guess what? "All you need is love" !
M. - Continuing saga: I was looking up my ancestors and came to the name 'Hatch' from NY. I went home and had missed a favorite show, American Pickers - so I looked it up on demand. The people were in NY and in the background was a huge sign that said 'Hatch.'
MP. - Three times today when I got in my car, as soon as I started driving the Phil Phillips song called "home" came on the radio. The chorus was an ah- ha moment for me! It was Spirit talking to me. He has been trying to send it to me all day!

There are times when we are focusing on developing any sense, whether it be psychic, spiritual, physical, emotional or mental that we believe we are not moving forward as fast as we would like. There are times we think we are moving too quickly and it is scary. When we are able to accept where we are in the moment we find rest and peace. It is what it is, and we get to decide what to think of it. Peace is always with you, as who you are and 'what it is.' As you concentrate on your breathing, focus on that as centering and grounding.
This is why I stress ‘it is what it is’ because there is no ‘should.’ When we set up expectations for ourselves we may fall short of those and then feel discouraged. Accept where you are and allow yourself that space. ~ M. Nappi

“I was thinking of you the other day and of a story you shared about a woman who came into your shop and you knew she was 'testing you' and after you gave her a name twice, she continued to tell you it had no meaning to her when you knew otherwise. And I thought of how we all feel like we are being 'tested' at some point and it really is an uncomfortable feeling and may even lead us to doubt our own abilities if we let it. So here is my take on that particular situation...She obviously was drawn to you and your shop for a reason. The information you gave her was accurate and whether she admitted it to you or not this had to be shocking and maybe even scary. And maybe your ability (even though see sought you out intentionally) confused her. Meaning maybe it changed what she believed to be 'her truth'. Spiritual awakening can be overwhelming even when liberating! So while she may not have been openly excepting, I am sure you helped her more than you know. This it what this life we choose is all about.. helping others! Well, I just had to say this because I know first hand how you have helped me and I know I will never forget the message (gift) you gave me! So the next time you get that 'testing feeling' remember the trust being put in your care.” - K.

Hi, Michele! So, in my reading today, you mentioned that my uncle, H., had a fake tooth. I thought that was unusual and, as far as I knew, he had perfect teeth. When I told my father about it, he said that Uncle H. did, indeed, have false front teeth. He hid them well! Haha! What an amazing validation for us!! My father said that, at the time we were chatting, he was actually in confession -- how interesting! "Okay. Some woman (telecommunicator) from somewhere called to sell me something. I gave her a reading. It just happened! Her aunt came through. I 'saw' the woman - her aunt - dressed in a blue suit with matching hat. A black woman. The woman I was talking to on the phone was floored. It was her Aunt that just died and she had missed the funeral. She is going to N. Carolina this weekend to visit with family there. I saw a big cast iron skillet and greens being cooked. She said that is her mother. I said, "She/her Aunt says hi to family and sends her love." I saw the woman I was talking to had 'something' going on with her ankle. She said she had tripped getting off the bus this morning on her way to work. Her Aunt said to "slow down." She said she has to work two jobs to buy a car. That she is always in a rush. Tonight's class was great! I really liked the Aura Meditation we did. It was different than others I have done before, and really helped me. I could feel my Green Aura the strongest. On the way home I noticed the clouds, while they were dark, were kind of shaped like an Aura. It was really cool! :)

I have accepted the opportunity to hone my skills. I've been seeing 11,111,1111 again lately. Did a reading for myself: Two times when doing a reading for myself I have received Transfiguation card. Today I received that one again, The Chariot and The Hanged Man. They seem to have common meanings within the three cards. All major arcana about change, beginnings, being beyond duality, surrender, visions. Letting go of one 'reality' to move forward. Each talk about subconsious mind/darkness/buried secrets/underworld. Renunciation.
I have also been thinking recently about 'respect' and how this expectation leads us to a point of focus/suffering. I believe it is beneficial to respect in general and yet, when we begin to expect others respect we may or may not receive it. i have been creating the space within myself to experience my thoughts and feelings created by these thoughts and what this means to me. Where we not receive respect from others we do have an opportunity to respect ourselves and go from that point. We can always choose this way of thinking. We can nurture and have compassion for ourselves as being sacred. No 'matter' what occurs in our life, we can hold sacred ground. I AM.

“I sprayed some of the Boswellness frankincense (carteri) that you gave me (sample) on my upper chest before I went to bed last night. I have skin damage because of all the sunburns that I had as a child. There was a pleasant and unexpected surprise that came from doing this. When I woke up in the middle of the night I could breathe ok and didn't take my inhaler as usual. I always have to take a puff upon rising also and haven't had to take it yet and I've been up a couple of hours. My arm was also aching which I have been enduring for the last couple of months and so I decided to spray and rub some into that arm. Within a few minutes the pain was gone. I did this an hour ago and it hasn't returned.” TP

Hi Michele, I figured out the candy cane, hand behind the back with my grandmother, she reminded me on the way home (from the reading). When I was 23, living with my aunt, my cousin Courtney was a baby. My grandmother bought her a baby's first christmas stocking....I jokingly said "Why does she get a special stocking?" (up to this point I had been the only grand daughter) The next week my grandmother was standing in the living room with her hand behind her back, it was was a stocking with a mouse hanging on to a candy cane and at the top she wrote in "Kathy's 23rd Christmas" I still have it. This is a joke in the family so she was bringing validation. Thanks for that!!
6-Week Psychic Development Course - Exercise: “Ask the Universe a Question” :
A follow up from class Monday night... During my hour drive today to visit my 98 year old grandmother who's in a nursing home, I asked the Universe if I could have some kind of a sign to let me know if Grama knows who I am. Over the past 2 years (since her stroke) it's a rare moment that I feel she does. Nevertheless, I talk to her as if she fully understands and she seems to be happy I'm there. Throughout our visit today, although it was clear she didn't "know" who I was, I felt from a soul level, she knew. When I got ready to leave, I told her I'll be back for a visit in another week or 2. She then looked right into my eyes, pulled me closer, and said to me "thank you for being my grand daughter", all the while having a grin on her face... THANK YOU, UNIVERSE!
S. - I feel like I'm imagining this, but did someone talk about "All you need is love" last night in our class?
(In fact someone had). I was at Bed Bath & Beyond today and a calendar fell off a display and landed by my feet. I picked it up to put it away and across the whole front cover was "All you need is love." cool! (PS, I didn't even bump into the display, the calendar just fell.
MP. - Oh my! I just opened my Pinterest page and there, right in front of me, was a woman wearing a t-shirt that said......guess what? "All you need is love" !
M. - Continuing saga: I was looking up my ancestors and came to the name 'Hatch' from NY. I went home and had missed a favorite show, American Pickers - so I looked it up on demand. The people were in NY and in the background was a huge sign that said 'Hatch.'
MP. - Three times today when I got in my car, as soon as I started driving the Phil Phillips song called "home" came on the radio. The chorus was an ah- ha moment for me! It was Spirit talking to me. He has been trying to send it to me all day!

There are times when we are focusing on developing any sense, whether it be psychic, spiritual, physical, emotional or mental that we believe we are not moving forward as fast as we would like. There are times we think we are moving too quickly and it is scary. When we are able to accept where we are in the moment we find rest and peace. It is what it is, and we get to decide what to think of it. Peace is always with you, as who you are and 'what it is.' As you concentrate on your breathing, focus on that as centering and grounding.
This is why I stress ‘it is what it is’ because there is no ‘should.’ When we set up expectations for ourselves we may fall short of those and then feel discouraged. Accept where you are and allow yourself that space. ~ M. Nappi

“I was thinking of you the other day and of a story you shared about a woman who came into your shop and you knew she was 'testing you' and after you gave her a name twice, she continued to tell you it had no meaning to her when you knew otherwise. And I thought of how we all feel like we are being 'tested' at some point and it really is an uncomfortable feeling and may even lead us to doubt our own abilities if we let it. So here is my take on that particular situation...She obviously was drawn to you and your shop for a reason. The information you gave her was accurate and whether she admitted it to you or not this had to be shocking and maybe even scary. And maybe your ability (even though see sought you out intentionally) confused her. Meaning maybe it changed what she believed to be 'her truth'. Spiritual awakening can be overwhelming even when liberating! So while she may not have been openly excepting, I am sure you helped her more than you know. This it what this life we choose is all about.. helping others! Well, I just had to say this because I know first hand how you have helped me and I know I will never forget the message (gift) you gave me! So the next time you get that 'testing feeling' remember the trust being put in your care.” - K.
