When we get triggered we get to see & experience what can be healed instead of re-injury. We begin the release of a pattern. A ‘friend’ we have known. There is comfort in predictability, even if we die from it. We would rather die than face a fear dead-on, which is a bit of an oxymoron. We would rather feel safe & comfortable than face our own piercing reality – fear. Isn’t that ironic? It has been said that the fear of death is number one. That it is an instinct, the will to survive. What if dying is just very slow? Day by day, minute by minute, living in the illusion of taught-thoughts & predictability? ~ Michele Nappi

Taking Something Personally is Okay

Yesterday I took something personally.It helped me to realize that this is okay to do. We can come to a realization that what we are taking personally is a part of who we have decided to be. That we are discovering this within ourselves, through this realization. It is what we do with this information that creates a negative or positive outcome. It is not wrong or shameful to take something personally. It can be beneficial when we allow this information to come to the surface to get a different focus about it. Like a cork floating to the top of a pool of water. The cork is fine. The water is fine. It is what it is and we can decide what to make of it. This very act show us a part of ourselves that is ready to be released. Mindfulness. ~ Michele Nappi
